Cheese is a good binder food. So is rice, popcorn (unbuttered) and dry toast. Avoid spicy food. Avoid cold liquids as well as ones with artificial colors. Don't slack off on water, or better yet, Gatorade to keep your hydration up.
Meds like Pepto-Bismol and Immodium are great helps, but don't over medicate... follow the directions.

Increase your fiber intake. Fiber acts like a sponge and absorbs the extra water without the constipation.

Oh no. I agree with Laura on the cheese, but certainly not if you're lactose intollerant. That would certainly make matters worse.
BTW, Was this just an excuse to write diarrhea in a question? :-)
