First, love yourself. A lot of people with weight problems don't love themselves. They are mean to themselves. They call themselves names. They rarely say, "I have pretty eyes. I have a pretty heart. I am kind. I have nice feet." Beauty starts inside. When you feel better about yourself, you feel like doing more with yourself and others. Practice telling yourself that you are beautiful.
Write everything down that you eat for a whole week. Don't forget anything, and don't cheat. Then look at what you eat the most of. If it is sweets, or snacks, or soft drinks, be aware that they make you gain weight.
Then get rid of sweet drinks. Stop all soft drinks. You can gain a pound or two a week from soft drinks!!! Drink water or sugar free drinks, if it is ok with your mom. I lost 50 pounds when I quit drinking sweet drinks.
The other thing that can work is to eat cucumbers, raw green beans, and pickles, and popcorn instead of chips.
If you drink a full glass of water before each meal, then you get full faster.
Stop or cut back on cakes and candies.
Try to practice dancing, cheering, basketball or even walking. Try to do it 30 or 40 minutes every day.
Good luck. This will work very quickly if you really stick to it.

First off, you probably don't weigh THAT much. Most tweens and teens put on a lot of extra weight that they soon grow out of. But, if you really MUST lose weight they best why to do it is to eat right and get lots of excercise. Aim to get 45 minutes of cardio workout a day { i.e. running, swimming, bike-riding, walking, jumping}. Or, join a gym. Eat 5-6 servings of fruits and veggies each day. Lay off the fats { butter, fast food, soda, and the like}. There are lots of tasty low-fat, or calorie-free food out there, so eat those instead. Drink 8 {or more} glasses of water each day. Try to avoid juices and sodas. Stop eating candy right now. Eat your food in smaller portion sizes! And DON'T skip breakfast. Oh, and don't eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. See your doc. for more tips.

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

Don't your parents feed you the healthy foods, like the pyramid style of eating? To lose weight, stop eating fast food. They are loaded with trans fat and many calories. Eat a high fiber, high protein breakfast. Avoid the consumption of sugary drinks. Drink plenty of water or flavored water, zero calories. Cut back on ice cream consumption and don't eat anything up to bedtime. Your last snack should be at least three hours before bedtime. Exercise, exercise, exercise. You must burn off more calories than you consume daily to lose weight.

increase your activity levels and decrease your intake of high energy foods. simple mathematics really. But at 12 you shouldn't be worrying about your weight, you need to store some extra fat in order to go through your next growth spurt.
make sure you eat breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner everyday, don't skip meals as this will cause your body to adjust and store more food as fat. make sure you exercise at least an hour everyday! walking is fine, jogging is good or find a sport that you can enjoy. Karate is fun and rewarding too. enjoy your young years and remember you can do anything you put your mind to. :-)

Get out from behind that keyboard and go outside. Seriously...don't worry about running, just get out. Ride a bike, shoot basketball, take a walk, anything! The longer we, as a society, sit behind keyboards, the heavier we will become.
My next piece of advice for a kid your age would be for you to stay away from fast food restaurants...unless you're eating a salad. No more McDonald's, Wendy's, or Steak n' Shake.
Lastly, drink plenty of water!

Try to stay away from junk foods. Make sure you drink as much water during the day as possible, it helps to clean your body and flush out any extra junk. try eating 4 small meals( not right before bed) instead of three large meals in your day. Focus on eating healthy and staying active not on losing weight.

Hey, my friend: One easy way to loose that floffy and lausy junk around your belly, is to cut, right away :
1- cut ingestion of late food, before bed time;
2-do not eat over your belly capacity, (your stomach),
3- stop ice cream, whole milk, large porcions of bread, pizza,
sweety crackers. Instead eat: wheat bread,
a) diet milk, b) fruit: apples, oranges, pears, all kind of salads; eihter raw , or boiled.
Also, do some excercise: joggin, gymnastics, I WILL GIVE YOU 3 months time frame to see the change. Your belt will reduce and you will be surprised.!!Good luck...

Have your mom go to the dr. with you to talk about this. We dont know your health history ect.
PLEASE remember that starving yourself is not the way to go my dear. If you do not eat......... your Matibilizum will get slower and it will make you bigger.
Your probley not that big ALL teen girls think they are fat.......
Eat less, cut out sweet, and fatening foods and candy, eat several small meals, . Chew all your food 15-20 times.....eat slow. Avoid fast food as much as you can, ALways eat something for breakfast Just a few tips
