All screening tests are looking for metabolites of a substance, so all the test can indicate is that it appears you took Opiates or even specific medications. If you take enough, there will be unmetabolized material in your waste as well. However, some of us have prescriptions for meds and our metabolites indicate a different family of medications because we process it differently.

Yes they both show up as an opiate, but if they break the test down further the lortab will show up as hydrocodone, and the other will show up as oxycodone.
