I'm about to go to collage, and I don't know whether or not to pack my blanket. I don't sleep with it, but it's the only item that has survived both fires and the flood,(Yes, I have had an up and down life!) so it's comforting. Should I take it or leave it?

Wash it with your favorite detergent and pack it. Whenever you feel home sick you can snuggle with it and the smell will comfort you. Good luck in college!:)

Take it with you! You won't be the only person at college with a special blanket or other lovey.

Best wishes to you!

I still have my childhood blanket and I am 27 years old. My aunt made it for me and it means alot to me. I was saving it for my first daughter. I have two sons but now I am pregnant again with my daughter.

There's no reason why you should get rid of it. I have baby blankets that were my mom's. Keep it as a memory of your childhood.

Take it definately. I still have my teddy bear and I am 34, I have since passed it on to my kids, but I am SOOO glad I kept it because my mom died right before I got pregnant and it gave me a connection for my kids to her because we (my mom and I) had special talks with him every night.
