Well think of this...have you seen Titanic (random thought)? You remember when Kate Winslet told DiCaprio that she loved him?

Did you believe it? I did. I believed that Kate's character really loved Leo's. Pretty realistic. They are actors...we know that, but they made the whole scene so believable that we all bought into it...yeah, she's that good. But many people can be that good, especially when it comes to telling someone that you love him. I mean we practice it our entire lives, even maybe dream about it. But it's all make-believe.

The thing is that 90% of the time when people say that they love someone, they are saying it cos they have been conditioned to do so. It's not so much that they don't mean it, but it's because it's sounds good and it's easy to say.

You are thought from a very young age to express feelings out loud...nothing wrong with that...it's just that we all often exaggerate and say it all the time. Like your parents tell you over and over that they love you...and that's too much.

When I was growing up, my mom said that she loved me only maybe twice a year or when it was really necessary (like after a fight and stuff) and you know...I'm fine. Cos love, no matter if it is from the parents, friends or lovers, it's the kind of thing that you just feel. Of course, it is good to hear it every now and again but not all the time cos then it just doesn't mean anything.

As far as your guy goes...he might truly love you, you cannot know for sure unless you trust your instincts, and just let yourself go. You have to feel it. Don't think about it, just feel it. That is the only way to be sure. Hope this helped!

Does he know what love is?
Do you know what love is?
Ask him what love means to him. Does it mean just a physical attraction, like an obsession? Does it mean he can't imagine a world without you in it? Does he mean he respects you and would place what is best for you above his own personal desires?
Whatever he says, you will know what he means by his actions.
Real love, btw, is much, much more than a physical thing.

Man Law states that it is ok to tell girl you love her in order to get what you want. It's part of being in a relationship that trust that you mean what you say and he does the same, its a mutual agreement that both of you will be honest.

You don't. It all comes with time and how you all feel after a relationship is ongoing for some time! Even then you can never know. You can only believe.
Have a swell day!

Yeah, I agree that you just have to trust that he means it...he wouldn't be saying it if he didn't. It's difficult for people to say it when they mean it, so if he's saying it, he means it.
