I rarely eat chips... but German ones I'll try.
I think they DO have red pepper in them.

funny-frisch = brandname of the chips means fresh, got nothing to do with "funny"
chipsfrisch = playword for fresh chips
ungarisch = hungarian - means hungarian style = spicy
they contain the mildest form of red pepper - so they are not hot - just spicy

You really shouldn't eat too much chips, it makes you either fat or it makes you repeat their advertising slogans...lol

Frisch basically means cool - but it isn't an exact translation.
