Everytime I download LimeWire the next day (or possibly soon after that) it doesn't work at all. When I try to open it this window pops up that it isnt a recognized file or something. Is it because I have Dial-up internet connection?

I had the free version when I was trying it out for a while and it was fine with my cable modem, so I am guessing the dial up is your problem.
A friend of mine has dial up and she is always having problems with cookies not being accessible. If you pay for your limewire services, I would call a tech on the site listed above.

Dial up is not the problem. Try viewing all of your programs on your pc using your pointer. look for startup and limewire should be under that category ....goodluck

no its not cuz u hav dial up it maybe because wen u download for some reason ur file does not download rite maybe cuz u pause the download n restart it or maybe cuz it gets interupted cuz u may be doin too much on ur comp while downloading it for dial up to handle or u may jus hav a virus....get spybot to clean out viruses it works gr8

No it is not because you have dail-up most likely its because you not downloading the right thing or maybe it that your computer memory is full!.

Possibly, you haven't by any chance did a system restore after you installed it, did you?
