I use Tri-Sprintec - generic variety of Ortho-Tri-Cyclen. I use it after the birth of my one and only son to not get pregnant again AND it has the wonderful affect of clearing up my severe acne I had. You'd never know now I had such bad acne. Take 3 weeks of pills in order, 4th week you don't need to take them - they're placer pills. I've used it 9 months and love it. $10 generic too, with good insurance.

I've been recommended the implant. I was originally recommended the depo shot but a doctor put me off that because of the side affects (especially weight gain).

depends on your age, but i will say this.
if you get on the pill or shot or patch, always...ALWAYS use a condom as well. the others will only prevent prgnancy. STDs are much worse than getting prgnant.
