Hi, I am so ready for a French Bulldog now that I have read up some information on them. Can anyone tell me their experience with a Frenchie? Where can I find one..even a rescue one in Maryland without spending $2500 for one. Any..Any advice will help.

First off I bought one for 1500, brindle (mostly black with white on her chest) from a Breeder in California. The lighter colored Frenchies are more expensive...

I've had my puppy for almost 2 months (she's 3.5 months) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE HER! She's adorable... such a clown, a smart girl, stubborn, but super duper friendly to strangers (like Boo Boo's dog to the 'T'). She doesn't bark unless something is scaring her or she is crated... but be prepared cuz they are noisy in other ways... she snorts, sighs, and makes all kinds of funny noises... (cuz of her flat face). She also catches colds really easily so be careful... they are just like little kids... they sneeze and boogers come out! And mine loves rubbing her snots on people...lol.
Frenchie's are a truly unique breed. I had been looking to purchase one for over a year and I finally found mine. They are pricey yes but be careful of buyers off of Puppyfind.com. I saw sooo many people trying to sell me Frenchies with such strange stories... they all linked to Nigeria somehow and someone needed to 'find a good home' for a puppy cuz they were on a business trip, or on a missionary... I'm talking about 6 or 7 stories that all sounded the same. It was all a big scam.

good luck finding one for cheap, i got mine in december for 2200 from a great breeder in michigan (i live in california) my experience with my frenchie has been great! she is the sweetest, funniest thing ever, if and when you get a frenchie no matter how much you spend believe me you will not regret it! their faces can make you go from sad to in love in an instant! my frenchie can make me so mad at peeing on the floor but the second she looks up at me with those sweet eyes i melt! frenchies are very friendly, sometimes too friendly, she jumps up on strangers when were walking! and she licks the vet all over his face! Frenchies do not bark very much so they are great apt dogs, (i live in an apt) they are also smart but stubborn! but yea thats a little about my experience, good luck!

I LOVE french bulldogs. They are sooo fun. My friend has one named Ruben, he is such a character. You can always just visit your local animal shelters, and see if they have any. Or you can check on http://www.petfinder.com/ and look for one. Good Luck in your search! Good Choice in breed!

Good luck finding one in rescue....These little clowns are great dogs! Once you have known one, you will look forward to meeting more.
Very friendly, great companions...and thoroughly comical...each one seems to be born with a sense of humour...
