I would have to say they named the orange first, since people were probably eating them before they even cared about naming colors. Then, we started to become the ever so classifying people we are and named the color orange, after the fruit we always eat of that color!

Well, if you mean which appeared on Earth first (as in nature), then it would be the color, since that's probably been around since animals first appeared. However, if you mean which came first, in the sense of the name (like, when humans first said: "I'm going to call this an orange."), then my guess would be the fruit.
