Should I wait around for a while, or should I just go for it and ask this guy out? I'm rather hopeless right now. I'm a senior in high school. Prom is coming up and I have no idea who I want to go with anymore(I asked 3 guys and they all can't go). College is soon but the way I feel now, it's as though I'll be by myself forever. i'll get out of this right?

well, the guy i want to ask out is one of the guys who can't go. but he graduates from college that day, that's why he can't go. so, yeah. haha.

yes go for it,you can't wait till someone ask you,everyone has to go for what they want...Were not in the 60's anymore everyone ask out who they want to go with.I'f they say no find someone else!Someone out there wants to go with you there just to scared to ask,Look out for signs and body langage....Good luck!!!

Go ahead and ask the guy out. The worst he can do is say no or maybe put you down for asking. Just remember the old adage - Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. If he says no then consider it as his loss and don't worry about it. If you have a best friend guy, take him to the prom and have a ball.

You will not be alone forever..there is life after high school!. Of course you should as the guy out. Prom is fun. A friend got me a date, the day of prom (I broke up with my boyfriend shortly before prom) and had great fun. Honestly, its about time with the friends and you will carry those memories forever.
I wish you luck and if you have too, go with a girlfriend.

If he already has a crush that isn't you, don't ask him, but if you don't have no idea who he likes GO for it! Don't waste your time just waiting for him to ask you out. Because he might ask someone else and you'll be all alone. In the end it's not worth waiting.

People don't go to proms to get married. Ask him out, but don't be fragile about the answer. And BTW, you have 20+ years to find the right guy. There are plenty of them out there (but you have to train them) :-)

ask...it won't hurt u to try it. What I mean is that if he says no then u know so at least you have to regret saying maybe I could have gone to the prom if I only asked that guy. Plus your leaving to college...so again it doesn't matter...you can start over again if things get weird.

go and ask him - if he turns you down, don't take it personally.
There are plenty of guys who ARE looking for that prom date - make sure you have someone with you even though you're just "friends"
