It depends on how well you know him and if it's only an Internet thing or if you know him in real time.

Mainly it's a way of seeing how you will respond.

it means he really likes you and he just used to word Love to denote that...when you didnt like the use of the word he tried to deny using it so that you wouldnt get freaked...which you are really over freaking about that...its just a word if you think about it...although it may have certain connotations for you, he probably doesn't feel that strongly about the particular word. He uses it instead of saying "Like ya, bye" lol would you prefer if he said that? It wouldnt have as big an impact and it's not as good sounding...

He may have some infatuation or love for you depending on what type of person he is I wouldnt worry about it though unless you feel uncomfortable then I would suggest shining him off a bit by distancing maybe

It means he thinks your really cool
as long as he doesn't say

I love you or I'm in love with you, it's fine.

He's cute, and doesn't mean it like I wanna love you forever and ever, He's being sweet, you should feel lucky sometimes guys never say it.

it means he loves you. dont make a big deal about it he is just ready to move to the next step. if you arent then talk to him about it. if he really loves you he will slow down.
