how can i make my self smarter, i'm in 8th grade currently and i wanna look smart and feel smart. i study every day but there is always these people whose better then me i mean i learned pre-cal and i'm learning chemistry and i even memorize pi to 40th decimal i mean how can i just be well smart but in a different way?

Start by reading books. Not romance books either and never read a self help book. History, geography, science books. You'll soon see yourself leapfrog over those who think they're intelligent.

Read good literature. Improve your vocabulary. If you ever come across a word you don't know - look it up in a dictionary.Read, read,read. Memorizing pi to the 40th decimal place does not actually make you any more intelligent it only uses up part of your memory. Travel. Find out about other cultures - how other people live in different areas of the world.

wow, um mm some people are smart and they do well with out trying, while there are unlucky people like you and me who have to actually study to get good grades. maybe you are spending way to much time learning things you don't need in 8th grade like Cal and pi to 40th place. Maybe you should just focus on YOUR classes right now.
how do you look smart? glasses? I don' think think there is a way to "LOOK" smart....
feel smart? most people who think they are smart are not really smart they just have big egos.
perfect example this girl I know she is always going on about how she is so smart and she is going to be a doctor. but we have psy together and she has a c and I have an "A".. also she was saying how her GPA is 3.9 when I checked it was 2.6 lol.... see she was just trying to make her self sound smart.

intelligence isn't memorizing, thats just gaining knowledge. it's almost impossible to get 'smarter', you have to work on problem solving skills.

you don't know have to know everything to be smart. if you do your work and listen to your teachers and be responisble you are already smart
