I joined an after school club activity and met this cute guy. He is the president of the club and he introduced me to the other club members. I told him that i drove 1 hour just to get to the club and he shook my hand. He seemed really friendly from the start, he even told me if i had any questions i could always email him. Now was this flirting?

No he wasn't. All you are saying right now is that every single person who is nice when they talk to you is flirting. My point is that no, he wasn't and that he was just being friendly.

usually the president of a club is the one to introduce you to people in the group. i dont think that is flirting.

that is a hard one. i would send one open email and then leave it alone and see what happens. this way you will know if he is interested in you. just think of some off the wall question and ask.
