You want to know how long you should stay with someone that doesn't deliver. Then if you want to breakup cause of that, do it today. Otherwise you both sound like prognosticators and deserve each other.

He is a procrastinator. This is a problem for just about everybody, but some people have an extra dose of it. It can be very hard to live with. If you love him, lots, you could try to help him by "jumpstarting' the next project. Roll your sleeves up and do something toward getting a job done. Work side by side on something and be sure and praise his work...even if it's less than perfect. Pay attention to what excites him around the house...plan little projects around that. He needs some small accomplishments for self-esteem purposes. Passion 'a dream' needs to be seeded, perhaps you can do that for him.

It depends on what stuff...
I mean I can tell my bf to do the dishes and stuff around the house and he'll say that he'll get into it in a bit, but then doesn't, so I just do it myself.
Those things are pretty little, and he does do them sometimes, they're too tiny to come between our relationship.

Of course if it's something bigger, then I would talk to him about it. I would tell him that he's not being trustworthy if he says he is going to do something and then he doesn't do it. And that I might not be able to trust him in bigger things and that might become a problem. Just tell him that if he isn't going to do it, then don't tell that he is either, that way you don't have to be dissapointed.

Depends on what stuff it is. If he's like not washing the dishes, or doesn't want to shave his stubble or something that's one thing. You can slowly train him to do things like that. :)

But if it's like he says he'll change something about his personality, or he'll quit smoking, or he'll show you he loves you more... and he never does... that might be a reason to sit down with him and tell him how much it really means to you for him to change.

Be completely honest and try not to sound accusing - if he comes around & talks to you about how he's going to make a big effort to genuinely change, then keep him around! Try to help him change. But if he just blows you off & is rude about it, I say you might need to start thinking about showing him the door, unfortunately. Good luck!!

That depends on what you want from a relationship. If you can be content knowing that he does not keep his word and therefore, is unreliable, then continue on. If not, well .. .

Choice is yours. Trying to change someone is ineffective and a frustrating way to drive yourself crazy. Either accept or let go.

It depends what he is saying he is gonna do. If it's stupid stuff like for example, he says he's gonna jump off the roof and never does. But if he says he is gonna take you out on saturday night and you get stood up, then yes you should break up with him!!!
