Halogen lights, give a color of light close to natural. Not too yellow (incandescent) or harsh (florescent).

There are plenty of color-corrected bulbs you can get. My suggestion would be lots of lights available at different angles and heights. Use some crystal fixtures to give the light some sparkle. Avoid darkening shades since these kill luminescence.

try flourescent bulbs, or those new twirly looking bulbs that save energy they start out dim but after they warm up they are really bright.. these are the bulbs we use and they really work our yard is completely covered in huge oak trees so no natural light gets in to our home either... bummer :(
