I use the straightening iron or the curling iron just about every day in my hair. I need something that is a good moisturizer/thermal protector to keep my hair from drying out. Most things I have tried weigh my hair down. Please give me some recommendations on good products to buy. I have tried ion thermal protector. That kept my hair protected but I think it is just a surface protector. I need a lot of moisture but nothing heavy. Thanks a bunch!!

before you straighten your hair, apply some hairspray, There are special hairsprays that prevent damage.

Anyways, I know what you mean. Hair straightening is sooo addicting that once you start you can't stop! A good product that keeps your hair moist and protects it called Zero Frizz shampoo. It moistens your hair and prevents damage from the hair straightener, while it defrizzes your hair! highly recommended.

I iron my hair every other day (yes with a real iron) and i use the chi products. they keep my hair shiny and looking good! They also help prevent split ends and breaking.

Any kind of serum will work. I use the Control Freak line of serum, but anything should work all right. I know how addicting straightening can be too.............
