not me my friend she is just dating again a guy she likes but she is so scared of being hurt she won't let herself get close to him plus she had something really bad happen to her when she was 16 she thinks something is wrong with her and says she'd ratherr be alone than be hurt again i don't know what to say to her help

She can just take it as slow as she wants to about the dating.
As far as what happened to her when she was 16 she should get counseling. If not it will interfere with her relationships forever.

Tell her love/dating is a risk, like everything else in life...and failing and falling is a result of trying...if you never get in the game...how can you win?
