I am looking to find a resort on a beach in Florida that can accommodate up to 100 people. My budget is $60 per plate. Does anyone have any suggestions??

The wedding will take place in Feb. 2008 and we are looking at places anywhere in Florida.

Oh, someone said the sandbar, that's where my boyfriend and I had our first date! I would want to get married there too, it's gorgeous, but, the whole thing would take place outside in a big white tent. I've seen a few there, and I wasn't impressed. That's just my taste though, you should still look into it. Some other gorgeous places are http://www.bonappetitrestaurant.com/

(Helmsley sandcastle) I can't find the page for receptions anymore, you can still look at some of the pics and call them if you like them....sorry!

I believe the Sandbar Resort in Anna Maria Island might have the facility size you need. I will be attending a Wedding there in the beginning of May. Location will play directly into the cost factor, but keep in mind the slow season after April and before December will afford more bargains.... the only drawback is the heat. Feel free to e-mail if you'd like more info on the place I mentioned. I'm a resident of Sarasota, FL

i'm getting married at Camp Blanding that's approximately half-hour west of St Augustine. The chapel is particularly exceedingly and that they have 2 distinctive halls to determine from for the reception. VERY particularly priced too.

$60 per plate?!? Good Lord!!! I only spent about $20 a plate at my reception!!

Need more details - Where in FL? North? South? East? West? Club Med is always nice too....Disney is also kinda neat if that's your thing. It really depends where in Florida you mean.

Try Adams' Mark in St. Pete or the Vinoy in Clearwater. Hope that helps.
