they have kits for standalone efis for chevy.
Performer Multi-Point EFI Systems offer performance and improved fuel economy. All Edelbrock EFI systems use injectors that are angled towards the cylinder head port for superior fuel dispersion and better throttle response than other brands. These kits include everything shown on intro page. Fuel pump kits are sold separately to complete your installation (except 1995 Tahoe/Yukon). Important note: Calibrated only for use with stock compression, stock cam and heads or Edelbrock cam #3702 and heads #60859. See dyno test.

If you can afford it the engine will run better, and you wont have to tune it like a carb engine. If you dont use throttle body or some other computer controlled engine definetly install a air/fuel ratio gauge it will tell you how your engine is running, i use a edlebrok one and it tells you a/f even when driving. You also need to know if you will have to pass emissions, they may not pass you with all these mods. I put a 350 in a S10(very fast) but I registered it to my grandmothers house where they dont do emission testing. I didnt even have to run catalytic converters because they dont check. Also, who cares what other people think about your car. My S10 was primer black with a cap on the back, but I beat 2 Mustang gt's, and a full size toyota pickup and the look on their faces at the next light was priceless. The toyota driver wouldnt even look at me and his girlfriend was laughing. People can say what they want, but just have your fun.

I think you are sick for thinking about putting a 350 in some jap-scrap like that. You would have to install a whole new drivetrain basically and gut the thing to get it work even close to right. By the time you end out handing out the cash to get something like that work, you could buy maybe 3 or 4 of those landcruisers. Technically you can install a 350 in a geo metro if that's what you really want....there are ways to do about anything. There are also ways not to do things. You decide.
