You'll have to check the return itself. If you can ACH the funds to the state there will be a place to put the routing number and account number and an option to check to have the funds transferred automatically. Check the instructions for details. Some states allow this and others don't.

You can have them take direct debit from your checking account, that's the only way you can pay through e-file. Most people just mail in and send a check.
