Ok im on a diet, I eat 4 to 5 times a day, small portions, about 1500 Calories. I go to the gym 6 times a week, one hour a day. Soo I been doing great, I started 2/26/07 and I was 180 Lb, and now I'm 167 pounds. I want to know is it true by doing all thiss, BUT eating after 7 will get you fat??? WHY DO THEY SAY DON'T EAT AFTER 7??? doen't it matter WHAT I EAT??? They even say eat before 3 hours of sleep. SO WHY CAN'T I EAT AT LIKE 8 and sleep at 11 or eat at 9 and sleep at 12???? Does eating after 7, even a healthy meal, make you gain weight????????

the later in the day the slower your metabolism gets. it's in our nature to slow down at the end of the day. generally, the rule is not to eat before bed. but 3 hours before bed is right. if you go to bed at 12 then you shouldnt eat after 9. fruit is good, or even a small bowl of cereal with lowfat milk. Otherwise, you'll have to work twice as hard to burn off the calories. Since you don't burn as many calories at night, it's easier for your body to turn it into fat. But from what you said, you're losing weight the right way. Congradulations!!

Some people say not to eat after 7 pm because it's a good rule of thumb to keep you from eating for a long stretch of time, during which most of it you're sleeping anyways.
12 hours straight without food is a good way to lose weight, and that's really all they are saying. It's also to get people in the habit of not raiding the refrigerator at night, which is a good way to GAIN weight.
There is no magic reason why they say 7 o'clock. If you eat dinner at 8, that's fine. The point is to make dinner the last thing you eat till breakfast the next day.

With books, you'll assume something and the whole lot. You create how the man or woman appears like, how they act, how they sound. Even if the author does not describe all of them that good, you'll assume them the way you desire them to appear like. With films, the whole lot is proven to you already. There's no Imagination there. Not handiest that, however usually films generally is a bit uneven and depart some thing out. Or difference some thing. Like, I used to be looking The Help the opposite day and for essentially the most side, it is the equal because the ebook. However, there have been a couple of matters that were not the equal. Or with a courting, it wasn't defined as so much or as precise because it must had been and in the event you did not learn the ebook, you might had been misplaced and burdened a mild bit. I like books higher due to the fact you'll shipping your self to a entire new international and allow your creativeness run wild. As some distance as books, I'm cannot believe on the second. I'm certain there are books which can be well and I've learn however I cannot believe of them on the second. (If you favor, you'll cross to my profile and there is a hyperlink to my amazon experiences. It would support you assess what you would desire to learn...)

That is complete myth and misinformation.
If your last meal was 7 PM, and your first meal the next day 7 AM, you just went 12 hours without eating. I guarantee you that you will be deep in starvation mode (much more so than if you eat later at night). The longer you are in starvation mode, the more it slows your metabolism.
Bottom Line: If you are hungry after 7PM, then have a healthy meal or healthy snack.
I eat as late as 10:30 PM or sometimes later almost every night and it did not stop me from maintaining less than 5% body fat. And I am in my 40's.

the 7pm rule can be used, mainly as a guideline to not eat anything past a certain time when you'll be more sedentary than the earlier parts of your day.
Gauge it according to your activity level and see how it works.

I don't think it makes a difference what time you eat...just as long as you're not eating more than what you're burning off.
