It depends. If you're a good, respectful student and you stay out of trouble, you might try reminding her of what a good girl you are. If you've been responsible and have made good choices so far, a little temporary hair color isn't the end of the world.

Even if you use a semipermenant color, the black will never come out of your blond hair completely. Since you are young, your hair does not dye the same as if you were older, the results can vary.
I don't know how you can convince you mom, but what I would suggest is just try to talk her into taking you to a salon. Make that your goal, just a trip to a salon for a consultation. There you can talk with a stylist about what you want. Your mom can tell the stylist all her concerns and why she does not want you to color your hair. You will get advice for your hair from the stylist and likely find something that will please you and your mom! It may not be black, but I am sure there is something both you and your mom can agree on. The stylist can recommend a color that will look really good on you and what it will do to your hair, what you can expect, etc. which should satisfy your mother and lessen her concerns.
SO focus on getting her to agree to take you in for a consultation with a stylist! That should be something simple that she will agree to and also shows her that you are responsible and want to get a professional opinion, you take her concerns seriously as well. You want to color your hair, but want to make sure it is the right decision. I think that shows good intentions and I am sure she will agree with that.

Don't go black! You won't like it & Nobody else will like it either. I started dying my hair at 12 years old, first time was behind my mom's back. I went red from a dark brown and never looked back! So, if you want to dye her hair, just do it. Once it's done she can't really do anything about it. You might get in some trouble, but you will have the hair you want. Just don't go black!

Awww my mom says the same thing but here's what I do:
I strike a deal with her ALL the time :D
For example:
I dont get good grades in math so I say
"Mom, if i raise my grade will you let me dye my hair?" she'd say yes and I gotta keep my end of the bargain.
So make a deal with your mom! Show her that you really want it and that you deserve it and you're willing to work for it!
And I'm sure she might change her mind :D

You are very young, and I think you should listen to your mother. It may look good, it may not. You may not like it afterwards, then what? It will be permanent. Even if you do a semi it will still have a long term effect because your hair is so light.

see what the colors are for the season and try and convince but I would wait a year or two and do it because colors can change you can make a deal an set a age limit when you dye your hair
