My Son will be the best man for his step son - This groom to be only knows our family and my son - We met Rob when he was 6 mos. old , and ecentually his Mom and my son got married. - would it be appropriate for someting to be said in the toast that pertains to his coming into our lives.

Keep it upbeat, funny, add some stories you shared together.
There are books with toasts in it. Run to the bookstore and write one down you like.

It would be fine to mention it, all the weddings I've been to, including my own, the best man has always said who he is, what the relation is and how they met. It gives background to those that don't know.
