Previously asked, but not very well.
My guy friend is close to going on a mission. He told me he doesn't want a relationship previous to that mission. He's now "with" my friend. Having been on several dates, I know why he didn't tell me- he didn't want to hurt me. Can't avoid it. What should I do?

There isn't much you CAN do. He's made a decision to be with your friend and anything you do to interfer with that will only make any friendship with either of them worse. I'd try to find someone who makes YOU a priority and let your guy friend and your other friend work out their relationship.

Forget about him! He is not looking out for your feelings cos if he was, he would have told you the truth about dating your friend straight out.

You interpreted his actions wrong...by not telling you about being "with" your friend is because he didn't want to ruin his chances with you...if at some point in the future it happened that your friend he's dating now were to break up with him...I know this is not what you want to hear, but girl, you are his plan B...and he's currently dating plan A. So, not only were you betrayed by him, but also by your friend with whom he is now!!! You have to stop letting people treat you that way...please! You deserve better.

I know I'm right about this cos I've been in your situation numerous times...and a real man will always tell you the truth! And that is the kind of man that is worthy of your friendship...the guy you are talking about here, most definitely isn't!

Confront him about it. No use in avoiding it because you will have to face it sooner or later. If you are ok with this new relationship of his tell him. if not, then just leave that part out.
