recently i caught my 12 year old son eating paint chips off the wall. I was taken aback but he said they tasted good so i tried some and believe it or not he was right. over the past year we together have eaten the whole wall. is that ok? because my neighbor said it was a bad idea.

No! Of course not! It's paint-it's not meant to be eaten. It may have lead in it, which is even worse for your son than for you. You both might honestly have some sort of addiction-a realy medical problem. You should consult a doctor, or maybe just go cold turkey.

The only chips that are meant to be eaten are Potato.

Well think about it. Is paint straight from the can good for you. I dont think so. Over time it might have an effect on you. What exactly im not sure. But you should maybe stop eating them

It depends on the color of paint. Blues and greens are healthier and have more vitamins than red and yellow paint colors. You might want to stay in the cooler winter tones.

I find it hard to believe that you're even serious. But, what the hey. Just in case you are, there's something you should know. Eating things that aren't food is called Pica. It's often caused by a lack of iron in the blood, and in children, can cause mental retardation. If you're for real, both of you need to see a doctor.

you better get a check up from your Dr=those paint chips might taste good ,but they could have metallic stuff in them and that can make one very sick,even die

depending on what type of paint, worst case scenario you'll probably wind up with a blood disease, liver or kidney problems. you might consider trying it with mayo!!
