i want a tattoo of a moon?

Question

it has to be a full moon, and i want him to have a face.... also blowing some smoke rings (small ones though, kinda subtle)

give me some ideas please

and i was thinking about my shoulder blade.... either there or my hip. no tramp stamps though.

There's an old (and I mean *old*) movie called "Le Voyage Dans La Lune" (A Trip To The Moon) made in 1902 by Georges Méliès. Smashing Pumpkins used a clip in the video for their "Tonight, Tonight" video. The moon had an animated face, and the clip shows the moon rocket hitting the moon in the right eye.

Although that particular picture wasn't what I'm thinking about, perhaps that style? It's sure to be recognized, as it's a classic film and the Smashing Pumpkins aren't the only ones to use that shot.

The moon does look "mean", though; I'm not sure if that's the look you want.

I think moons are cool, I have a crescent moon with a face on my shoulder blade, the only thing I would have done differently in hindsight is to move it over so my bra strap did not cover part of it. Good luck

How about some stars around it? And where are you getting it? I think the shoulder blade would be really cool.

You need to consult your artist explain to them what you want and they should be able to draw it up for you. I always say if they can not draw it on paper they don't need to tattoo it.
I have a half moon half sun on my ankle and i wasn't sure exactly how i wanted it to look so i explained to him what i wanted and her drew it perfectly :) And then we discussed the colors and it came out great. So good luck

I think that sounds perfect, but if you get that tatoo you should also consider growing dredlocks and joining the the local chapter of your D & D club. tell Willow I said Hello.
