my boyfriend and i have been together for almost a year and a half and in january of 2007 he was deployed to iraq where he'll be till september of 2007. this is the first time that we have been apart for any extended period of time. i miss him more and more every day and in all honesty dont know how to tell him exactly how i'm feeling. i've tried writting letters and emails and for some reason they all sound corny. i do i go about explaining just how i feel without making it sound like i'm bitching and complaining about him not being here?

Sounds like you really miss and love this guy. If your letters and emails seem to sound corny, it is because the words are coming from your heart. You would not be bitching by telling him how you feel about him and that you miss him. Take it from a guy who was deployed to Desert Storm, he'll love the letters and emails.

Believe me, what ever you have to say to him won't sound corny. He will eat up every word you say. Just write down what you feel and send it to him.

Well if you enjoy the life you have you won't ***** at all about him being there... However, it's ok to tell him you miss him, but never tell him you wished he wasn't over there...
