I agree... there is a lot of suffering around us. I don't want Heaven either. I don't even go as far as wondering if I am going to Heaven... nor if I go to heaven, then can I mourn in heaven. Does Jesus let you grieve in heaven? You can have your cake and eat it, too. My life IS heaven right now.... I'm living it and enjoying it at the same time. I suppose Jesus does let you grieve in heaven, because my life being heaven as it is right now... calm and peaceful... I was still able to mourn the recent passing of my grandmother. I guess he lets us mourn when we are in heaven, because he didn't stop me. I grieved for 2 days straight. There will be much suffering when 'Heaven' comes.... but there is much suffering now. The best way to assure that you will be allowed to grieve while in heaven... is to make Heaven now, and mourn and grieve the heartaches of others now, and lend a helping hand or offer a kind word or two. If you are worried about God, take charge of your life now. You can keep your memories all intact, be in heaven, grieve, mourn for the rest of humanity, have all the sadness you want, have all the gratitude you want. You can have what you want, you can have your way.... because YOU decide. So make heaven now... and come what may, at least you know that you mourned, grieved, rejoiced, empathized, sympathized.... what you will is in your hand... at the present moment. We have heaven and hell already right now. Others are in heaven or in hell right now. I think what is of the most importance is helping others turn their hell into heaven. If we all worked together today and each day to help make someone's hell heaven, we would have a perfect heaven here on earth. No one will be grieving or suffering... and no one will even have to even consider or wonder, "Does Jesus let you grieve in Heaven (...the "heavenly Heaven")?" We will have our own earthly Heaven for 'everybody'... which includes everyone.

There are no tears in Heaven however God's not going to just wipe out your memories. Going to Hell you'd be treated equally but do you really want to be burning forever in a lake of fire where you will be in so much anguish you can't even think much less talk to your neighbor? If the suffering on earth bothers you so much, what are you doing about it? Do you just blame people for not doing anything without helping? Heaven is a reward a life with a Savior that we love more than life itself....Living for Jesus isn't just empty happiness but real joy even when things don't go right and problems exist. Personally I'd like you to have that joy forever with Jesus.

Nobody knows for sure what Heaven will be like. We get some hints from scripture, but it only tells us that it's greater than we can imagine and that the worldly things we desire to hold on to here on earth will be of no use to us once we get there. It'll be kind of like they say on Monty Python, "Now for something completely different!" Have you ever been blissfully happy? That is not emptiness.
In Heaven, there will be no suffering, no sorrow, no sickness, no death - you will actually get to see and speak with the creator of the universe. How cool is that?
You can do nothing to change the fate of humanity once you're dead, why grieve for them? You want to be treated poorly? Go to hell, that's where it's at for you.

If you except Jesus and go to Heaven there will be no grief there, The Bible has some words as to how Heaven will be and we will be there to worship God, we will not know others that don't go but will know everyone that is there. We will no longer know pain or have any earthly needs. We will know the great love God has for us and have the knowledge. The Bible don't tell us everything God Say's we could not handle that kind of knowledge here. There is a much greater good in Heaven God has promised us ever lasting life.
You said you want to be treated as your fellow man in so many words that is what God wants, He said love your neighbor as yourself so love your neighbor enough to bring them to Jesus we should care enough and love others enough to not leave them behind. May God bless you and guide your path to truth, love and happiness.

first of all, sounds like you have some serious self-esteem issues if you see being completely happy and content as undesirable. secondly, the Bible says every tear will be wiped away, implying that there will be tears. thirdly, there is sorrow in heaven untill after the tribulation, which, even then, people are not turned into the oblivious "labotomized happy retards" that you are arguing; people keep their memories. i think there would be plenty of room for the gratitude part ,also

Jesus wept with his friend Mary at the death of her brother lazarus... don't be surprized if He weeps with you for a while...but but it will be momentary...
God will wipe every tears for their eyes according to Revelation... and ... if God is the one wiping the tears away the sting and bitterness will be gone forever
there will be no more pain and suffering or sickness or death... the sadness will be momentary and
and the joy ahead of you and the great adventure of living in a world of love, enjoying heaven with God as the centerpiece will far outweigh any suffering on earth and you will foggetaboutit

you've gotten the wrong idea about heaven. Jesus lets you pray for the world, but when you have full understanding, you wont grieve. God never forces bliss on people. That is why you are on earth making that choice today.

Heaven will be a great place filled with praising God along with walking the streets of gold. I know Heaven will be way better than Hell.

If you long for mourning and pain, the door to Hell is open wide--very wide. There are enough sorrows there to satisfy you for eternity. Why should we weep or fast when we are with the greatest good, the deepest love? Why hold on to tragedy when God is all in all?
No, He will not erase your memory or force bliss on you. If at the last you refuse His charitable joy he will not drag you into heaven, and He will not take the blame for your eternity in Hell. He called to you every moment of your life and you did not answer. He gave you His life and kingdom, and you called it ungrateful.
If you will let me, I will pray to God to send His spirit to you and show you his joy. God's peace.

It is written that Jesus will wipe away all tears. That doesn't sound like a lobotomy to me.
It is also written that we will see Him as He Is. Meaning, in His heavenly form. To do that -- it must mean that we will have a spiritual body and mind -- that will have perfect knowledge. With perfect knowledge, comes the realization that all things were for good to glorify God. What seems like suffering and sadness here on Earth, will be seen as part of God's larger plan and you'll be awestruck, like whoa! that dude died of a horrible disease, but his family setup X foundation and it lead to a cure.
Stuff like that. You wait and see!
