i have not gotten my permit yet, but im turning 16 next month.
as soon as i finally get my license, how much will it cost for insurance.

probably $700-1200 a year. the type of auto you will be driving will make a big diference in price. Get an older four-door sedan or a small truck to keep costs down. Stay away from brand-new two door cars

That depends on where you go, what type of vehicle you are insuring, what coverages you need and if you are on your own policy or your parents.

The older the vehicle the better, liability insurance will be A LOT cheaper than full coverage since you are so young. If your parents will add you to their policy it will also save you a lot of money.

Have your parents call their agent for quotes, the agent will advise how much your insurance will be, and then just pay your parents your portion. That's what I did.
