Have you tried anything in particular to help with this? Here are somethings that can help, otherwise go to the doctor asap. Try eating a couple of bowls of instant oatmeal, this is a natural laxative also eat yogurt because this can get your digestive tract regular, also eat alot of leafy greens like spinich and any high fiber foods. Stay away from bananas because although healthy they will plug you up even more. If you are embarrased about going to the doctor you can call them to see what they recommend you use that can be over the counter, you can go to the pharmacy and either get FLEET emimas or supositories. It all sounds gross but it can all help, if in the next couple of days you dont "drop the kids off at the pool" then go and see your doctor.

See the doctor first to solve the immediate problem. Otherwise, you will have self induced poisoning and put your life at risk. Have you heard there are cases of death because of intestine bursting? See a doctor before the chance is gone!
If you still insist to solve it yourself, you must know why your "pipe" is choked. What they said is correct, you lack fiber in your diet and also do not drink enough water. Constipation is also caused by the bad habit of delayed going to toilet. The colon sucks away water from the stool making the "stool head" hard. As such, the hard stool is very difficult to be forced out of the anus. Now, the question is how to soften the "stool head"? You may use enema to do the job. And, you may need supervision.
For solving the constipation long term, email me and I will advise you.

20-35 grams of dietary fiber daily. You can easily get the fiber from fruits, vegetables and whole grains. If you think it is excessive, you need not worry. A small apple will provide you with 3 grams of fiber, ½ cup of beans contain 5 grams of fiber and a bowl of bran cereal has 13 grams of fiber. Eating prunes, dried beans, raisins, popcorn, figs, pears, oatmeal and nuts will easily treat constipation without having to resort to expensive medicines. Start on these high fiber foods slowly. Eating too much too soon can cause gas.
Drink 6-8 8 ounce glasses of water daily. It is the best liquid to prevent constipation and maintain general health.
Regular exercise is an excellent home remedy to treat constipation. Walking is one of the right exercises to prevent and cure constipation.

even if you are worried about what you may hear, it is extremely important for you to go to the doctor. this could potentially be extremely dangerous. it may be caused by more severe problems and be causing other problems in turn to your body. the sooner you make it to the doctor, the better, as you are not helping youself by avoiding it. in the mean time, eating fruit could possibly help to counteract the constipation you are experiencing, and it sounds like you could bnefit from taking lazatives. DO NOT eat any carbohydrates, like rice, or bananas, as this will only make your problems far worse. good luck, and i hope you go to the doctor, it's the best thing for you.

I would take either a stool softener or I would try to take a laxative. If you take a stool softener it might take awhile for it to kick in. Or if you decide to take a laxative just to be aware you might be hittin up the toilet quit frequently.
Or you could also try to drink some coffee or some apple juice. Or smoke a cigarette all those options seem to help for me. Good luck.
Before you go to the doctor, save yourself from a doctors bill. Try taking either the laxative or the stool softener

You need to go to the dr. You may have blockage and you don't want to take laxitives if you have blockage. But it needs looked at cause you could die for it. The best thing to keep regular is fibercon, benefiber, ect. and fresh fruit and veggies. And for occasional contipation, milk of magnesia works great. But only advised by doctor in your current condition. If you go to the dr, they may only tell you to take milk of mag or they may give you an enema. Which I dought but you never know. But you need to get it going soon. Before it makes you really sick.

You are right to be scared, but not about going to the doctor.
The only thing a doctor is going to do is fix your issues...and if you don't get them fixed you will be putting yourself at risk for a whole host of more serious problems.
GO SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!!!

Two weeks is bad and you really should go to the doc.
Drink warm black tea and take a fiber capsule and an acidophilus capsule.
If you don't go soon see a doc. please. It could be something other than constipation especially if you're in pain.

Have you considered Milk of Magnesia? You can buy it at your local drug store. It loosens your bowels. Start drinking more water, and take some over the counter laxatives.
