People always say wait till marriage to have sex!! My old friend said she was going to wait to have sex till marriege. Six months after that she broke both of her legs, and strives around in wheelchair. She said people look a her differently and she regrets waiting for it. You never know what could happend and never have that chance. So why wait?

Well, it all depends on your values and morals. Everything thinks differently when it comes to sex. If your in love and your ready, I say, go for it. You should live each day to the fullest, but also be humble about it.

That's an interesting story, but I would say that is probably the exception to the rule.

I, for one, did not wait until marriage--and ended up getting used for the sole purpose of sex. It's something I'm still ashamed of.

There are stories for both sides.

wait until you're sure - sex can have a huge impact on you emotionally; if you're not sure about it before you do it, you'll probably regret it.

broken legs doesn't *necessarily* mean she'll never have that chance, either - just that she might be lucky enough to have a guy who cares about her for the things that matter, like interests they have in common, etc, and sex can be part of a meaningful relationship

Wait till marrige. No point having sex if your not doing it free of guilt. If shes missing sex so what, its not the best thing in the world. Wait till you have TRUELY found the right person.

sex is a gift that God gave us. and it is better to wait to marriage. think about it, waiting until marriage is sort of hard and if you had enough discipline and waited and your spouse didn't, you might be angry. i would be. but i agree with the fact that you never know what will happen next and you might not ever be able to experience it. but, life's about taking chances.

you can have sex whenever and with whomever you want, but if you give your virginity to your spouse, it is an extremely special gift. it's too bad about your friend, but that is no reason to rush out and have sex-what if the person you give your virginity to gives you an std? especially one that you can't get rid of. no, you don't have to wait for marriage, unless you believe in God, but on the other hand, you really need to consider all of the consequences.

ok. first off. broken bones heal! also, what ever makes you feel comfortable, if you really love the guy and he doesn't ask you to marry him he just wants your vagina then wait until you find someone who cares about you for you. but having sex before marriage really makes you get to know someone more. its like testing the waters to see if you want to live with him for the rest of your life. but it depends on the situation and the guy you are with.

well some people say live everyday like its your last day. i say if you do smth, make sure u dont regret it. so if you are going to do it do it with someone who you love and they mean a lot to you, and even if you guys broke up, that night would be always special for you, cuz you know at that time, it was exactly what you wanted.

Sex is overrated and I am sure if you want it that much it's worth waiting for especially with a person you are marrying? IMO

What happened to your friend was truly unfortunate but I still agree with the majority of the people that it is better to wait.
