basically, why should all languages be allowed be used in the U.S.

A very GOOD question. Absolutely correct.
I would say that it should not be because people who use it are very extremist about it, and extremism is NOT good.
They believe that english is the ABSOLUTE, the UNIQUE, the ONLY, the SUPREME language chosen by the gods to be above all the other despicable ways of expression used by the inferior foreigner beings.
That mental attitude is typical of somebody called adolf, that lived in Germany and exterminated more than 6 million people for no good reason

I think it should be an official language. People can use their native languages, of course, but it has to be one language in which they can communicate with each other, the language of official documents, schools, constitution etc.

it's a free country, people can speaker whatever they want. plus US is becoming more and more popular amongst foreigners, expecially to spanish speakers. so it's a good idea to learn a second language.

thers hardly anymore whites here because people are starting to immigrate alot over here and they speak in different langs. and also for our state to communicate with others we are supposed to have people who can translte for our state.

it shouldn't because US is made up of different ethics which means different language.
