People who ask that question are never going to get a "real" answer or even be satisfied with the answers they receive.
You see: the proof is in the way we as Christians treat each other. Our love, compassion, joy, peace, our kindness. And you might say that you don't have to be a Christian to have those things, but indeed you do. See, you might love, but you'd never understand that it's because of God's love for us that we love other people. You'd never realize that our kindness stems from the fact that Jesus laid His life down for us. You'd have a false perception of love, and joy, and peace. You'd be thinking of love the way the world thinks of it, or happiness. Like, I'm happy because I'm rich, etc. The proof is what we feel from God when we call and cry out to Him. Thats where the proof is. It's a personal thing. That's why some people can't understand why Christians are the way they are or do the things they do. But God knows, and that's all that matters.

Well the reason they say that there is no historical claims that Jesus exsisted, is because there are no bones or remains found of him. But the reason for that is because when he died, he came back to life. There are numerous claims of seeing him, witnessing what he's done and he's the only person that influenced people worldwide in such a way that an entire religion was defined by him. Also there have been discoveries of the things that have occured by him, down to a painting of him where he was present.

Actually, there is no evidence to support the historical existence of Jesus. There are no writings contemporary to his 'life'...everything was written by people who were born AFTER the time he supposedly lived, and are therefore hearsay. The gospels were written between 70 and 90 CE. Josephus was sponsored by a bishop who advocated lies, deception, and hiding the truth in order for the burgeoning church to gain and hold its influence and power.
Check out this link for a more thorough explanation on the lack of evidence to support his existence. There is much more information to debunk the myth, but this is a good starting point:

The tomb they found presents a better case for the existence of Jesus than you have for most 1st century figures. Given that the names on the burial boxes match up with the names recorded in the bible, it seems likely that such a man did exist in the 1st century. This, of course, says nothing about his titles like christ, son of god, or lord.
Actually if I was going to pick a 1st century god figure, I would say that Jesus most resembled Hercules. From his virgin birth as the son of god through his miracles to his tortured death and ascension into heaven many of the changes between the earliest gospel (Mark) and the later gospels seem to be designed to make Jesus more like Hercules.

The thinking of a natural mind seeks physical evidence and is based on seeing is believing. The thinking of a spiritual mind accepts by faith the things of the spiritual/supernatural dimension and is based on believing is seeing. If you are a believer(Christian) you need to have recieved his Holy Spirit if you have this in your heart then it will bear witness to the bible. If you don't have the Holy Spirit then you will have a difficult time as a believer in Jesus. You need to pray and ask for the Holy Spirit if you don't have it.

I know that there are historical documents that prove that there was a Jewish man who lived at Jesus' time, in the area where Jesus lived, who was put to death by the Romans. I don't know where to find this evidence, however, and nothing in there will prove or disprove Jesus' divinity. But historians generally do agree that the man lived on this earth.

There aren't any evidence what so ever exterior of the bible. human beings will in all likelihood attempt to promote you prices from Josephus, Tacitus and others, yet they have been shown to be early Christian forgeries. Your theory on why and how Christianity became began is on the different hand ridiculous. in case you opt for to talk the problem I propose you examine up on it first. that is easily interesting to work out what handed off, how and why. also seem up Simon of Perea, he became the messiah in the previous Jesus.

There are many writings that say that he existed. Many of the characteristics of Mithras have also been attributed to him. As for real, tangible proof. We have none.

You should ask for proof outside of the bible too. . .
Also look for proof that moses ever existed...
or that Jesus ever actually said "I am God"
Or proof that the exodus ever occurred
etc...
Lots of things that christians can only use the bible to reinforce their beliefs

Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the New Testament in the Bible. That should give you more than enough proof that Jesus does exist.
