Did Christianity not come from Judaism? Wouldn't it be better to be Messianic Jews aka Jewish Christians? Why is so much reference paid attention to mostly the New testament and only the Book Of Genesis in the Old Testament the only one you seem to use so much? Wouldn't it be better to just use the Book of Genesis with just the New Testament? Why do you choose which books and verses are valid and which ones aren't valid? Also if according to you guys all religions are false does that mean that Judaism is false as well? Also why is it that everytime I turn around I see certain Christians say that Christianity isn't a religion it's a walk of life? Does that mean that all other religions are just religions? Aren't those considered to be a walk of life as well? Also can't a Non Religious lifestyle be considered a walk of life as well?

Very good questions...

You are right in that technical we are Jewish Christians. And there are many people called "Jews for Jesus"

We do use the Torah (1st four books of the old testament, including Genesis)

If anyone picks which verse to use and not use that's a cult.

Judism is not false. It's incomplete. Jew still believe that Jesus is coming when he came 2000 years ago.

A walk without God is a walk that leads to sin and death.

A walk with God is a walk of freedom and grace.

Your questions are awesome! It looks like you are Jewish from the things you have written and so I am going to answer as if you are.
Jesus or Y'eshua is in fact the Jewish Mashiah foretold in the Torah. The Old Testament is important to the New Testament as the foundation to the structure of the house - one can not be seperated from the other. The New Testament is the continuing revelation of the Lord and His people and we need to study all parts of the Scriptures. ALL Scripture is God breathed and useful...All Scripture is valid as it is fully revealed in the Bible-that is both Old Testament and New Testament. According to the Torah there is one God. Christianity affirms that truth and worships that same God as the ONLY God. All else is false. Worshiping the Lord is not about religion as something that we can strap on, go to, "do", etc. It's about being in relationship with the Lord. That relationship only happens through our washing in the blood of the passover lamb - the Lamb of God - the promised Messiah who is Jesus Christ. I suggest for a far more eloquent and detailed discussion of the specific points you have raised that you get a copy of the New Testament and read the book of Romans. The Apostle Paul was born, raised and highly educated as a Jew and answered these very questions from other Jews as well as gentiles. Blessings to you on your journey.

I don't know any Christians that deny the Jewish heritage. In fact I only know Christians that embrace it. As far as I'm concerned, I'm Jewish by adoption. Judaism is false in that it doesn't recognize Jesus as the messiah, even with all the old testament prophecies that accurately describe him, especially the 70 Weeks of Daniel. The difference between Christianity and every other religion is grace. All religions are about how you get to God but Christianity is about how God got to you, and he did it in the most amazing way through Jesus Christ. I hope your an honest skeptic.

Your words were refuted 2000 years ago by Paul. He clearly taught that Jews are Jews and gentiles are gentiles. They should not be made to become like Jews because they are not and that is not what makes them holy, Jesus does.

We do in fact use the various books of the Bible and do not reject them as you suggest. Not our church anyway. We may have different interpretations on some of them is all.

Judaism as a means to be justified by God IS false because people cannot be justifed by the law. The Scriptures teach us that the law came from Moses, but grace and truth through Jesus.

Many believers reject the word "religion" because it implies belief only; when our faith is about living out your belief in God, not just believing. Jesus said that only he was the truth, the life, and the resurrection, not the world.

Living worldly is a walk of life sure, but it only leads to death because it rejects Gods truth.

Not all Christians deny the Jewish origins of Christianity, mainly Catholics and Eastern Orthodox. The Catholic church has d0ne a lot to deny its origins an many of the things done in its name. What surprises me is that Muslims are denying their origins as also being Judism and Christianity although the Koran says that they must respect their "sister religions".

In the book of Genesis - YHWH tells Abraham that his house will be built with physical heirs, Not only those who are spiritual heirs. Like Eliezer. Even though Eliezer was a member of the household of faith, YHWH was planning on seeding the nations with those of Abraham's "Faith and Seed", and thus promised the birth of Isaac. This clearly shows that today memebers of the household of faith are considered both physical and spiritual Yisraelites/Hebrews before YHWH. ~(~

PERHAPS, one needs to EXPLAIN to You, that Real Christians understand the PROMISES of the OT and the Fulfillment of them in the NT!

Christ Jesus, the Messiah was reject by Israel, till.......

(Romans 11:25-to-32) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

(Rom 11:26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

(Rom 11:27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

(Rom 11:28) As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

(Rom 11:29) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

(Rom 11:30) For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

(Rom 11:31) Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

(Rom 11:32) For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

I figured that someone LIKE YOU, Knew that? BUT IT APPEARS = THAT YOU DO NOT!

Thanks, RR
