The foods from the recall list can be found at http://www.menufoods.com/recall/index.html
Beneful is not that great a food either. Look at the ingredient list. The commercials lead you to believe they are jam packed with wholesome chicken and veggies, but it's not the case.
I feed and recommend the foods at http://www.frrco.com/121668
Your dog may have a food allergy. If so, I suggest the Trout and Potato or the other non-allergic food on the above website.

I'm not sure if the dry food was in the recall but Beneful is a terrible food whether it was or wasn't. Try Natural Balance. Its not the best food but its pretty great and can be found in just about any pet supply store.
The bests are Innova Evo (usually only found in feed stores) and Life's Abundance (only found online) but there are some other great ones like California Natural and Chicken Soup for the dog lover's soul.
If you want just think of it this way. Don't buy dog foods that have a tv commercial or are sold in supermarkets. These are by far the worst foods.
Now as far as Natural balance, Innova, California Natural and Chicken Soup.....well theyre a bit pricy but worth the price to have a happy healthy dog. On the other hand cockapoos aren't that big so it shouldn't be such a problem (I have 4 dogs...2 small and 2 large and went through one and a half bags of Natural Balance every month....when I fed kibble that is)
You can also go for the BARF diet or Prey Model diet but most people don't like the idea.

I believe that Beneful is made by Purina, not Menu Foods which is the company that had the recall on canned food products. To be honest Beneful is not a high quality food and if you read the label on the bag, it most probably does not have a chicken meal as one of its first main ingredients-as the ingredients are listed in the order of which the food is made up. As far as bi-weekly vomiting, that would be something I would discuss with your vet. Good Luck
PS-when changing a pets diet always remember it needs to be changed gradually over a 2 week period.

Put your puppy on a suite feeding time table, two times an afternoon, and use a well fine puppy meals. I use Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul. It's no longer at Wal-Mart or so much chain retail outlets, take a look at a regional puppy retailer. My puppy loves it and he has healthful poop. He will get breakfast at 6am, and dinner at 5pm. It's approximately $10 a bag, and lasts my dachshund approximately a month or so. Just go away it within the bowl and he's going to consume whilst he is hungry. Don't fear, puppies do not starve themselves, he is just a bit spoiled from the rainy stuff. Try to introduce the brand new meals slowly, so it does not disillusioned the little man's belly.

Beneful is not one of the bad brands. I feed my dog nothing but Beneful and have kept a close eye on the list. As for other brands it is mainly the wet foods causing all of this but they have recalled everything to be safe at thist point.
As for bones and treats I have not heard of any recalls.
If you try another food and your dog still vomits or gets worse call your vet they can advise you best.
I agree with the other person it sounds like a food allergy. I have a pittbull/boxer with terrible food allergies she is sensative to red dyes and various other things. Beneful is the only thing that dosen't make her throw up or have awful gas.
But if your dog is vomiting while eating it try another brand. Whats good for one dog may be bad for another. I do suggest trying to avoid the red dyes as this is a very common cause of upset stomach.
Good luck finding the right food.

A dog can have an allergy or intolerance to an ingredient in a perfectly fine food- in which cqse it isn't the best food for That Dog. But the recall is on wet food only

Please reconsider feeding your dog the grocery store foods....This recent rash of poison problems are just the tip-of-the-iceberg with these foods...ie..Purina, Beneful, Alpo...etc...
Alot of filler ingredients, corn/wheat...and meats that are not human grade (not edible)
Go holistic....Canidae, Chicken Soup for the Dog's Soul, Solid Gold.

dont worry as long as u keep him on the dry stuff he will be fine. it is just the wet stuff. but u may want to have that stomach checked out if he is puking or maybe change to a different kind of food cuz it could be giving him an upset stomach
