To suffer is the only way to know what its like to feel good. It like you cant have good with out the bad. How would you know what good is if you didnt knwo what bad was. Suffering is good. we all suffer for something and we are better peopl because of it

I LOVE to suffer physical activities like running faster than I the boys, running in the rain, and pushing myself to the limit! I think this is a really interesting question and if the "suffering" part of your question were stated as "overcoming barriers" or "forcing yourself out of your comfort zone" I think you would get better responses.

No but we all have to suffer sometimes right, not sure I would go out of my way in the hopes I had a big reward at the end.
*Saint Peter ~ move on move on your reward is the silver shack left of cloud 9 on gullible street. Good grief O_O

Can you say masochist? I knew that you could. In the teensy tinsey off chance that there ain't no so-called oxymoronic "after" life, you can take comfort to know you are screwing yourself out of the only life you'll ever have. Way to suffer!

There is no after life. Aliens, mormons, the bible......they all teach the same B.S stories.
How someone could live thier life by a book written in the middle east by slave owners. It is hard to believe that "slaves" still follow the "be good or suffer" book.
When you die you die. Have your fun now!!

I don't particularly like it, but it is just a fact of life. Everything can't always be "peaches and cream". How could one understand the positive things without ever experiencing the negative?

No one likes to suffer, but it's a part of life and we need it to grow.

Okay......Good for you, I'm not so much into the suffering. I'm more into the peace and love side of things. But to each their own.

I don't like to suffer. I do like the lessons I learn from suffering though. I think that is what you are referring to, unless you are a sadomasochist.
