No. Curly hair is good. Straighten it and it won't look like you and you will damage your hair in time.

Honestly no. I have naturally curly hair and when I staighten it even if I'm using the best hair straightening line like chi silk infusion and I even use the expensive red chi straightener it still makes my hair dry on the ends so now my hair is pretty damaged so I've just been wearing it curly all the time and I can already tell its getting better. But if you want to risk messing up your hair thats fine but I'm not straightening mine for a long time.

It depends on your preference. I personally love the look of naturally curly hair, but if it is frizzy and poofy, you don't necessarily have to straighten it. There are plenty of hair creams and products that can make a frizzy mass of curly hair into cute, tight waves. I suggest only straightening your hair every once in awhile, when you are in the mood for a change.

I have naturally curly hair and every once in a while I straighten it but really I usually always leave it curly because despite how its harder to manage its interesting and pretty that way and Its something to hold over the plain headed straight hair girls heads lol

Why not? I have thick curly hair-a relaxed curl-and have never really wanted to take the time to straighten it, it's a very time consuming process. But, i have a girlfriend with hair just like mine, and she straightens it all the time! (With a flat iron.) You just have to be careful when you do it so you don't dry out your hair. Curly hair tends to be drier on a daily basis anyways. They recommend you use a straightening balm/ointment, that helps keep it moisturized. Hope this helped!

Maybe once in a while- I did that but then I learned how to take care of curly hair and to be proud of it. Constant straightening is very damaging so let it be curly.

If you are wanting to permanetly Straighten it...no. You'll end up doing more damage to it. It will basically Fry. Straighten it yourself every once in awhile with a flat iron is fine. Using Chi Silk drops serum, works very good. There is also a heat protectant from ION that can be purchased at Sally's Beauty Salon that Works as well.

you dont understand the mess i put up with every morning. my hair is so curly and frizzy my friends all call me mufasa, and my dad prefers madusa! i straighten it sometimes when im in the mood for a few hours in the bathroom. but hey, its your hair... i dont think it will hurt it. get some heat protectant spray. thats what i use, and just try not to have the curling iron, or flat iron held onto your hair for too long.

Of course it's personal preference, just as it is when people with straight hair choose to get a perm.
But I think you should embrace your curls!!
