I'm 24 and there is a girl from high school that I've seen a few times since graduation but never really socialized with. We didn't talk in high school, but since we are all older, I would like to ask her out on a date and see how things go. The problem is that I don't have her phone number, ONLY her MySpace profile. How can I go about asking her on a date (or asking her for her phone number) without looking childish? I think MySpace is a great networking tool, but asking a girl out seems too high school, and that's what I'm trying to avoid!

You don't ask her on the internet. It might seem like the easier thing to do, but really it's a whole lot better if you ask her in person, and she'd appreciate it more. However, you might just know her from online (such as a long distance fling) and those never really work out in the end.

Network it together and then when she is online chat with her for a bit, Hi how are things going, ( do you go to HS reunions?) and such

try just telling her that you'd call her or something but all you have is her myspace and you'd love to go out with her? i don't know-- its worth a shot i guess....

Send her a message asking for her AIM/MSN screenname then once you talk more ask for her phone # so you can actually ask her out.

Other than that, just say your name, and that you used to go to school with her - and would like to get togethor =)
