my ex girlfriend wanted a cross for her necklace for christmas, I couldn't find just a cross, then she said she could take the cross off a necklace and put it on hers,but it was too late then, now it's been 3 months since she broke up with me, and I've felt bad ever since that I didn't get her one. I saw her in church sunday and noticed she didn't have one still. Today I bought a necklace and am going to send it to her, with a note saying that I'm not expecting it to change the way she looks at me now, but that I just wanted to feel better that I got her one. I know some may think it's foolish of me, but I still care about her and in my heart I thought it was the right thing to do. I just pray that she won't be offended in any way.

awww how sweet. youre not foolish you were doing something that you already told her that you would do. Together or not you sayed you would do it, so you are just going back and finishing it. Thats really nice of you. she wont be offended by it if you just tell her that you never break a promise on the note. Once again awwww. PEACE

someone telling you that you were foolish because you were being thoughtfull is very mean, I think that if you feel it's the right thing to do, because the fact that you are doing it from your heart then feel free to, do not do it out of guillt, if you want to give it to her, because you love her, then you are on the right track, if you are giving it her cause you feel sorry and you think that if you give it to her, you will win her back then don't do it, I don't know why she broke up with you, but don't do things that will benefit her and not you, so that is very thoughtfull and very kind to send it to her, but if she broke up with you just because she didn't recieve a cross?? then she had issues not you, besides no one is perfect, but I would encourage you to go for it, okay? and please be careful cause i don't want you to get hurt even more in the process.

P>S I think that that note was quite beautful, just be honest and make sure it's from your heart and not from guilt.

well if you really like her, you did the right thing. i would of probley done the same thing for my boyfriend. she might like you again and think that you are'nt that bad any ways. if she broke of with you for that. shes crazy. she should get over that. its not like its the end of the world. she should like better things about you like your personality or some thing better in stead of a cross you didnt get her for christmas. i think you are doing the right thing by giving her the necklace. she will hopefully love it. Now the rest is up to you.
