That is why Muslims believe the Jesus is not God but a prophet. We dont believe he died by the way, he was saved by the real God and raised to heaven and will come back down to fight the "anti-christ". God is one and cannot be divided into parts or take different forms. Also if Jesus had come to "die for us" that doesnt make sense. So are you trying to tell me as long as you believe in Jesus you can do whatever you want and still go to heaven. What is the purpose of life then. Also, did Jesus ever proclaim in his life that he was God/son of God/form of God? Also, there are many prophets who were murdered, why not say they died to cleanse us from sins?

When you believe on His name, as your saviour and Lord, you have the inner witness that Jesus is who says he is.

- you are forgiven and know it
- you are born from above in your spirit
- you receive the Holy Spirit, God's presence, (not a mortal) sometimes automatically, and certainly if sought
- you enter into a new life

These are exclusively given in response to belief in Jesus as who He claims He is, belief he is God's prophet won't hack it. You probably don't have a legal right in God's sight to be born again, unless Christ is accepted as Son of God, as well as your Saviour.

Coming into a living relationship with God is called 'eternal life'. It begins now with peace, love and joy in the Holy Spirit,
and continues after physical death.

How can a sinful man like Mohammed claim to have a superior revelation when he can't even provide these glorious basics? You aren't going to receive forgiveness and the Holy Spirit from some fallen angel's smooth and deceitful words. The moral teaching can be mimicked a bit, but God won't reward faith in a salvation plan which He does not originate. Only in Jesus can you taste and enjoy the heavenly things.

If you examine the New Testament you will find many times he claimed to be Son of God, eg baptism, Peter's profession, transfiguration and during trial. Also loads of refs to his divinity in the epistles from Paul, John, Peter.
I did an answer on this site in January and found about 50 or more references to His divinity in about half an hour, and there are more.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.

If one wants to learn the truth it usually starts with an open mind and not with a mindset that will deny the answers before their given. Jesus was Emanuel, God with us. He became human to establish an unbreakable covenant which provided a bridge between God and human. The only way to do that was for Him to take on the form of man. His spirit was God. He was superior in that He never sinned, not because it wasn't possible as human, but because He chose to follow the spirit within Him.
When the covenant was completed He returned to heaven to await those who accepted His offer.

Jesus is God. He is God incarnate or God in the flesh. He was without sin and he is superior. His death was a sacrifice to pay the debt of sin. When Satan introduced sin into the perfect creation, a sacrifice had to be made and that payment was the blood of Christ. It can be hard to understand but if you do you will be astonished at the true mercy, grace, and love of God.

*Medo, you ask a good question and yes Jesus does claim to be God: John 10:30 "I and the Father are one." By dying and being raised from the dead, sin and death were defeated. The other prophets were not God and so their deaths could not have accomplished this. Also, you cannot live however you want, everyone will answer for his/her actions on judgement day and we are called to live a life similar to the way Christ lived his life. Fortunately, even though we will be judged, this will not remove our salvation. John 10:27-28 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand."

God came in the flesh as Jesus, he was human for a time, then rose again on the 3rd day. It's a matter of faith that all the spiritual miracles happened. Before I accepted the Lord into my heart, I had all those questions also. Now, it's just second nature and I crave for more.

It is very easy to get confused about this, so much that most of us don't really know how it can be true. But the bible says that Jesus was both fully God (that is, immortal and omnipotent, like his Father) and fully man like all of us. Not half man and God, but wholly both at the same time. This is a great mystery which we will never understand until we are him Christ in heaven. We are content for now, though, to see the truth in the mystery of Christ through faith. When parousia comes we will see more clearly.

Jesus is the son of God and we don't worship Jesus but we worship God. If you have been to church before you would see people worshipping God and not worshipping God. Jesus only came to the earth to tell people about God along to die on the cross for our sins.

in christianity, God is Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Jesus was sent to earth as proof of his divinity. If you worship Jesus you worship God. The Vatican undermines the human figure of Jesus, because they want to emphasize on his divinity.

Your grammar is so terrible, but I think I understand what you are getting at, the reason us Christians worship Jesus is because he has single-handedly died for all of our sins and transgressions which Christians commit on a daily basis and given us eternal life in heaven. I think that is quite a bit more than your "average human".

God sent his only son Jesus in the human form (In the flesh) so he could die for our sins and have everlasting life. When Jesus was alive he was though perfect, without sin. He is almighty and all powerful. You should fear God because the wrath that could be brought upon you with out him is unbearable.
