and then click on the name of the rescue at the right..It will take you to the page with contact information. You can call each of them in your area, to see who has a program to help your puppy.

this is a program to give credit for veterinary care. If you follow the links, you can fill out an application and see in just a few minutes of you quailfy. It is a credit card that gives you up to 18 months to repay and charges no interest if you keep payments current.. they only require a steady source of income> http://carecredit.com/

You could always call a rescue group, Chihuahua or retriever. Some times these organization will take the animal and provide medical care, and then adopt it to a good home that's been approved by them. Most shelter do not have the time or money to take on a sick animal and give it that level of medical care. In cases such as this the puppy would be euthanized. I work at a city shelter, unfortunately I see this everyday. Good Luck

Why didn't you think of the possible financial costs before you got the puppy? Well, looks like you really f-ed up and now the puppy has to pay.

Try putting an ad in the newspaper asking for donations. Someone out there might be willing to help, IF you are willing to keep the puppy and give it a good loving home until he dies!

WOAH how did a golden mix with a chi??? Anyways you can go to a golden rescue and they probably will take em. A chi rescue might take him but probably not if it is really a golden mix which might be large. I wouldn't tell you to place in a no kill shelter since some of these dogs get no real attention besides feeding and cleaning. That means no walks or playtime. Some even come out vicious or untame.

Whoever bread this dog was an irresponsible breeder. You should tell the breeder you got the puppy from about the problems you're having, if they care then they will take him back.
If the dog is having this many problems at this age, it may have many more problems in the years to come. You may have to put him down. Make sure to research a responsible breeder for the next puppy you get and you won't have these problems.

Aww that's sooo sad, the best thing is to try and find a new owner. Maybe you can put a free add up on craigslist. Explain your situation and maybe someone will help you.

All the best, for you and your little buddy:)

Put the dog to sleep if he is already having serious medical issues the chance of him having more are great. Why put the dog through so much?

The ASPCA or SPCA may take him. They often take sick dogs and try to get them well before putting the dog up for adoption.

Call Directory Assistance for the ASPCA or SPCA, in your city depending on which name they use in your city.
