No atheists are not afraid of logic no matter how solid your logic is because their god is logic. The worship their own mind and world around them. Truth when it comes to belief in God is always difficult for those who have no understanding of faith. Most atheist lost a love one or hurt by church and no logic will help them come back to God. You must listen to their story of loss cause few have truly listen. Than listen more. After much listening stop talking and listen more... Than give them hope in an appropriate time.

No one is more afraid of pain and death than an atheist but afraid of logic never.

No. I've met very few atheists who were AFRAID of logic. Most of us embrace it. Hence the fact that we're atheists, and not buying into a fairy tale that promises us eternity in paradise and those that disagree with us eternal suffering.

*added* I went back after I answered this and read some of your other questions. You are hilarious! I saw "church" (the lady part was hidden, so I didn't make the SNL connection) in your name, and assumed the question was serious. I know better than to assume... haha Here's a star!

I don't know what it's like to be an athiest, but I do know what it's like to loose faith in Christianity. I still believe in one creator, and the existance of something like a soul. But the most interesting logic I've ever heard reguarding all this was in the "Trial and Death of Socrates" where he at least proves we have souls using logic.

No one who buys into any organized religion has any grasp of logic. If they did have any grasp of logic then they would not buy into organized religion!

By the way, if you are going to claim/argue that you have some "impeccable logic" then why not astound us with your so called logic? (Circular logic doesn't count.)

I've been an "atheologist" for a long time now. And your logic is some of the funniest on R&S. Have a star!

I very much doubt it. Atheism tends to generate as much fervour as religious beliefs, and to be honest, you are not the one to tell them they are wrong. Therefore, I doubt if they are afraid of you at all! I've always found the atheists I've known to be more than up for a religious discussion!!

Which is...........?

Prove me your impeccable logic and I will gladly discard my agnosticism and follow the god of your choice. Have you not yet understood that most atheists would follow god if there was solid proof?

I'm trembling that you have dug yourself out of your cocoon of ignorance enough to have any logic. Don't let your fantasy Boogie Man Satan jump out and take a bite of your butt. Ok where is it?
