Well, if you were to read the bible (the book Christians base their religion off of) you would see that there it describes in detail the second coming. the Bible is known as the Word of God thus not one word in it is a lie because if it was then God could not be God because God does not sin ect. We believe the second coming because it is in the book, we believe everything else in the book why would we pick and choose and say oh i believe in Jesus but i don't believe he's coming back. Faith i know it probably makes you squirm in your seat, but yeah we have faith that he's coming back like we have faith that he was here in the first place.
But you should learn more about the religion if you can't believe people still believe this, i guess you can't believe ppl are still going to church and reading the bible. However, the second coming holds a very prominent place in the Bible and in Christianity and if you were educated in bible prophesy and the doctrine in general you probably wouldn't hold that view point. No i'm not saying you would be a Christian i'm saying you would understand the belief better

Heavens Gates was a cult--they did not believe what the Bible said ABOUT Christ's second coming....they were definatley following their own belief and whacked out doctrine.
Jesus said he will return the same way He went up--
Acts 1:11
"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."
And nobody knows WHEN He is coming....But He will come and The Bible says He will come and judge the nations and then when HE DOES COME back every knee will bow and every tongue will confess He is Lord:
Romans 14:11
It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' "
John 14:28
"You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

If you are not sure read Mathew and Revelations, then google "man claims he is Jesus". This guy lives in Houston and claims to be the antichrist, he probably is and he has a following in 30 countries. Now he is trying to convert Americans. As far as sending money, Jesus does not need it so I am not sure why you are comparing cults to Christians. There is a difference. In the end you will be deciding your own fate so I hope you are right in whatever you believe. Hope to see you in the Rapture.

Before the first gulf war I was approached by a large underworld Satanic Secret Society. This organization forces a seduces people into its occult in many ways, They tried to force me. Anyway. To answere your question weather I believe in the second coming of Christ this is for you. Durring the period when the oil wells were lit ablaze I was attacked by a Demon at night on three seperat occasions. The third time this Demon attacked me I had enough awarnes to comand it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. This is when it happend. The Holy spirit caried me into the Hallway outside my bedroom the Demon followed stood beside me took my left hand with his hand and placed its tail on top of my hand and stung me it sent waves of fire threw my soul.
