i love these questions. I'd love to help. First thing you want to start doing is eating healthy. I don't have recommendations on what to start eating cuz i don't eat healthy myself lol. But ofcourse you want to stay away from all the fatty stuff like fast food. My best advice on the food part is to not completely get rid of the things you love to eat. So if you love fast food, go ahead and eat some, just don't make it everyday lol
Now for the exercising part...i very highly recommend not to rely on following diets and taking pills. I will never deny that deiting and taking pills will not work on losing weight. but its not healthy. If you want to take pills or go on a diet...go on ahead...but if you do decide to just remember to exercise too.
When i lost weight i started using treadmills...those things electronic platforms you adjust the speed on and run on...i'd start out running on those at your comfort pace. Do that for atleast 20-30 mins a day, 2 or 3 times a week. Or when your schedule permits.
Then gradually pick up pace when you feel you can do more
You might also want to do some abdominal exercises too, try and ask around for some abdominal exercise advice and do whichever you think works the best.
I hope this helps. And remember, you didn't gain this weight over-night so ofcourse it will take a month or so before you start seeing results physically. If you start with my advice i sincerely promise results...Good Luck

Walk instead of taking the bus ( in not to Far distances)
Jog (or walk) a few laps around the park every other day!

if you feel like you need to lose weight and diet, I hope this helps:
First and Best Way: Excersize!!!!!!!!!!! You need to excersize atleast 1 hour a day and I would say Running/Jogging is the best way to go about it. But personally, I hate that so I do jumping jacks, skip rope, rollerskate, and run up-and-down my stairs. Any type of rigorous, systematic movement can be considered excersize
Second Way: Reduce your intake of highly saturated fats! Stop eating those artery-clogging french fries, chicken wings, etc. It's okay to eat them once a week but don't pig out on them. If you normally order a Large Fries, then order Medium one next time.
Third Way: Reduce your intake of Meat Products. That way, you save animals and help benefit your health. It's true that meat has protein and iron, but you can get iron supplements and protein from vegeterian food. I'm not saying you should have a vegeterian diet from now on (even tho I am a vegeterian); I'm just saying you should reduce your intake of meat. So if you eat meat everyday, cut it down to three days a week.
Fourth Way: Eat your fruits and vegetables. I eat three fruits and three vegetables everyday and I think that has worked for me pretty well (I'm 100 pounds ..n no I'm not anoerexic (did I spell that right?)) Anyways, urge your parents to buy more fruit and veggies and include them in your dinner. Even if you don't want to eat as many fruits and veggies as I do, you should atleast have two fruits and two veggies in your diet EACH day. There is good vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, water, and other stuff in there that helps you lose weight.
Fifth Way: Water is a natural appetite suppressant, so developing a good water drinking habit can be a long-term aid in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. Doctor F. Batmanghelidj MD, author of "Your Body's Many Cries For Water" says most times your “hunger” is your body asking for water – not food. It's also important to remember that when the body is dehydrated, fat cells get "rubbery" and cannot be easily metabolized. This means that it's harder to lose when you don't drink your water.
Sixth Way: Drink lukewarm water with two table spoons of honey daily (easy way out and fast)
Seventh Way: One-Two table spoons of vinegar (also the easy way out and fast)
Anyways, those were a few options that you can try simultaneously (which is what I recommend) or one-by-one. You take care of urself and good luck with that!

Size 11 dieting but not exercising? Going fo rthe under-nourished bony butt look of a crack addict are we? tsk tsk.
If you are eating well... you must exercise. At the moment, with no exercise your body will store excess energy in the form of fat in the most convenient location, in your case, your waist.
If you are dieting (that requires you to be consuming less energy than you burn in a day), then your body will deplete your muscle mass first, that is, if you are not using it to exercise, and your fat store last... So if you are not exercising as well as dieting, your skinny legs might keep getting skinnier whilst your fat storage is maintained for the famine your biological clock is programmed to anticipate, wehn you reduce your food intake.
The healthy answer is, that you must exercise and eat appropriately to compliment the level of exercise that you are performing. Nature will usually take care of the fat reduction to give way for the extra muscle required to perform this new regime.
So you need to put your large muscle groups under stress. That is your legs, butt, back and shoulders. Your muscles under stress will cause microscopic tears in the muscles that your body will try to repair. This process makes the muscle larger. To get larger, they need energy (protein enriched energy) and this will increase your metabilsm and, as long as the energy you consume is less than the energy that you burn on any one day, your body will convert fat back to energy to feed your body to bring the energy consumption back into balance.
Of course, eat too much and exercise, and you will add muscle as well as additional fat.
Using your weight is a poor guide to your progress if you are heavily into exercise because you might lose 2 pounds of fat but gain 3 pounds of muscle... nett result 1 pound heavier. I therefore prefer to measure % body fat... the following calculator is useful:
http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/
You should start with a good low impact cardiovascular exercise, such as bike and every alternate day do some weight training, with high reps and low weights (to improve your heart's efficiency to oxegenate blood - necessary to sustain the exercises you do with less fatigue - meaning you can do more exercises). Set aside an hour per day for yourself and in six months you will bring the sexy back.
