Personally i think there is not much difference between the two, it really depends on what flavour your tasting. Frozen yogurt has a much rougher texture than Ice-cream and probably contains more actual bits of fruit. Again it totally depends on the flavour or possibly the brand as well. Why don't you really put your friend to the test and blind fold her and suggest an experiment to see if she really can tell the difference!!!

i think it just depends on the quality of the ice cream and the frozen yogurt. normally i would like ice cream better, but a really good frozen yogurt would taste better than a cheap ice cream. but i'll eat either one hehe!

and also i think frozen yogurt has a different texture.

Definitely! There is a definite difference. And there's a definite difference between artificially flavored ice cream with all the fillers and real.

In a heartbeat. The property is described as mouth feel. You mouth actually feels the fat in the ice cream .The fat feel should not be confused with gelatin feel or cornstarch as- a -thickening- agent feel.
