It is only once you believe and receive Jesus Christ that you have absolutely NO fear of death---the truth does set us free, from hell and sin and brings us everlasting life in Christ not only that but everlasting and real JOY! Indeed the truth WILL set you free!
You have no fear in Jesus Christ, and I personally know His comfort and peace-- and it is amazing. I cannot imagine my life apart from Him-- I truly cant, If I did not have Jesus Christ in my life, I would be in complete fear, and lost.

Psa 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your LAW IS THE TRUTH!!!
Keeping the Laws will keep you from defilement that leads to sickness that leads to death.
Some can't handle the truth and choose death.
Deuteronomy 30:15-16, 19—
15 See, I have set before you this day life by righteousness, and death and destruction—
16 In that I command you this day to love Yahweh your Father, by walking in all His ways, by keeping His Laws, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and multiply, and so Yahweh your Father may bless you in the land which you go in to possess.
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses—therefore choose life, so both you and your children may live.
If you question your religious leaders about why they will not keep the Laws of Yahweh, some will say they do. When you start questioning them about each Law they will have to admit they do not and will come up with many excuses.
Start with the fourth commandment and watch them excuse themselves.

I don't think pushing it back on Christians is right either, like you are doing. The beliefs to every individual is the truth, and with religion, there can't be a right or wrong that can be proven. Arguing about it will not solve anything.

Yes. Sometimes the purveyors of so called truth are the last to realize the falsehood of their dogma.

They don't hate the truth, they are afraid of the truth. No matter how much they say it, the Bible does not agree with science.

yeah i've noticed that too. my family tells me i'm afraid of tha truth becuz i don't consider myself a christian. i do believe in tha Trinity, but i disagree with sum of tha teachings and don't follow tha entire bible. i believe i have accepted tha truth, it jus apparently isn't tha truth they had in mind. it's my choice to be whut religion i want.
anyvay i'm getting off subject: most christians beleive that if yer not a christian, yer not accepting tha truth. well even if you do believe everything in tha bible, tha bible doesn't say you have to be a christian to be saved. they say it does. i think that's y they say that.
i've been told many times i haven't accepted tha truth becuz i've announced to my friends and sum of my family that i'm bi. you know tha rule book with christians, there's no such thing as sexual preference. another thing i disagree with. they r so against gay marriage they voted against it. at least tha majority of ppl that voted agaist it were christians.
in conclusion, i believe that tha christians preach tha way they do becuz tha bible has many misconceptions and many contradictions. i could name them but we'd be here all day. i hope i helped. peace
