Ok, I have two roomates, lets call one Tom and the other Jerry. Tom has been dating a girl for two years, though he is only 21, he is convinced he will eventually marry this girl. Well I just found out that last month Jerry slept with Tom's gf!! She does not know that I know. I am good friends with both Tom and Jerry. Also we have already signed a lease to all live together next year. What should I do?? I think Tom needs to know but I also do not see how we could all possibly live together next year. Also Tom is very emotionally dependent on his gf and his already depressed nature would likely increase once he heard his best friend slept with the love of his life.

Are these really the people you want to surround your self with for another year? Sorry to be harsh but getting yourself into a healthy living situation maybe best for your friends too. At least they can have a peaceful place to come visit.

First of all, once "Tom" finds out his "soulmate" is a whore, he'll realize (hopefully) that she is not The One. He's young and this will not be the last time that happens. You're right about the living situation; the smart money says one of them will jet. The only thing you can do is tell Tom in a way that helps him realize that this girl is trash. Explain to him that "if you look at it this way Tom, Jerry did you a favor. You were planned on getting married to this girl. Aren't you glad this happened now instead of after the nuptuals? Its alright to be mad at Jerry, but you must get past this and be a responsible roomate. Also, since your name is on the lease, you can't just leave. Plus, we're all friends here. Although you don't say how you found out you will have to keep quiet as things could get very nasty especially since you signed a lease. It is up to the gf to tell her boyfriend, not you and things have a way of being foundd out; she may slip up or so may Jerry. You run the risk of paying the price for telling even though you want to be a good friend - you would be the messenger and they often get 'shot'.

There is no way to do the right thing here without causing huge problems. This will end badly no matter what you do so the best thing is to do nothing.
Tom will either find out eventually or his gf will spill the beans.
It isn't your business and thusly shouldn't be something you should be involved in. You are not responsible for the well being of any of these people.

Talk to Jerry. Say that what he did was wrong, and to stay away from Tom's girl or you will tell Tom what happened.

If you're any friend at all you know the right answer. If you're any kind of person at all you know the right answer. Yes you should tell him but also remember you have to be there for him to. He might not believe you at first but you have to tell him the truth. He's 21 and there's plently of fish in the sea. I didn't meant the love of my life until I was 21 and I wanted for him for a year so you'll be surprised what doors you could open for him.

Don't tell him just yet!! Ask his girlfriend to sleep with you and if she doesn't then you will have no choice but to tell your friend that your other friend slept with her............get the best deal while you still can, I am sure she will break the relationship once she is pimped by all three of you and she looks like a whore............
Hey, don't be a pansy and act normal when he is around even after the sex with her..............she will provably tell one of you who is best and then you can pitch in with your other friend and pimp her out to other friends..........enjoy her while she is still there and giving it up!!! If she decides to stay well, get it as long as possible..........just be smart and don't get caught by the real boyfriend who will kill you guys when she is the one putting out!!!
Remember...............once a whore always a whore so don't loose the opportunity to have fun while you still can, trust me you will look back and be happy you did her too........if you don't you they will provably split and you will always wonder if she would have done it with you and how good the experience would have been!!

What a dilemma ...... honestly there isn't much you can do to see the problem resolved though ....
maybe the only 1 thing would be talk to the g/f and tell her that you know ..... maybe she's already resolved the mistake , meaning that she knows it was exactly that ... a mistake.
You can only hope for that , otherwise you need to stay out of it ..... you would just cause more damage and hurt feelings .

tell jerry that you know. you also should tell tom as well. because if he finds out you know, and he finds out from another source he will be mad at you. and that will make him more depressed. thinking everyone is against him. and then tom and jerry need to work it out.

Oy.....due to Tom's depression I would keep it to yourself and maybe make sure they both know that YOU know and let them know if it continues, you will tell Tom. I don't think there is a really great right or wrong answer......I'm sure if Tom finds out you knew all along, there will be hell to pay.
