Yes you can get married here if your student visa is valid, as a few people said you will need a permit from the home office and if you have the proper documents, which you should have if you been in this country legally for all these years, you will be issued with the permit and then get married. Going back to your country can be very expensive and this might take a long time and may affect your work and studies. If the home office issues you a permit I'm sure you will get a limited leave to remain for 2 years and after that indefinite leave to remain. I know because i went through it.

yes you can get married. if you still have time remaining on your visa and depending on what nation your fiance. If she is British you will need to apply to the home office for approval of marriage this will cost you £135, even if they turn you don't you still have to pay but if you have more that 3 months on your visa there should be no problem. Then you will get a marriage licence from your local registry office with this you can get married anywhere church or registry office.
If your fiance is from any of these country's:
Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Denmark
Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Iceland
Irish Republic
Italy
Latvia

Luxembourg
Malta
Netherlands
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Romania

You should check the link below - but be aware that Certificate of Approval applications are usually refused, and that marriage by itself does not give you the right to stay - which could make long-term plans difficult.
You and your nice lady should go together to a solicitor or citizens advice bureau for proper guidance. Go together so that you both know where you stand, this is really important.
Good luck!

Go to your country to get married, and while there put the education you gained in the UK to some good use and help out your own country!

If your financee is British your best bet is to return to your own country and obtain the correct leave to remain on the basis of being a fiancee. You cannot change one type of visa to another whilst in the UK and applications for marriage while already in the country are more long and drawn out than applying for a fiancee visa.

You can marry in England at your local registry office but it does not give you automatic right of residence. It is still possible that you may have to return home and apply to return as a spouse rather than a student
