I used to eat them all the time. The ones I ate came from a plant with a white flower and the onion bulbs were very small (marble sized). They grow everywhere in the North Sacramento Valley of California.

Wild onions are edible, and I think they're in the tulip family ( or something like that). I wouldn't eat 'em unless I knew from a horticulturist exactly which ones I could eat as some plants that resemble the wild onions you can eat are not edible, and some aren't onions at all, and it's hard to tell the diff between some species. Some are poison. Better save your buds for the grocery store kind unless you grew them yourself from a pack of edible Onion seeds or an Onion itself.

Oh confident! In my portion of Oklahoma wild onions and eggs are cooked at the same time. little question this comes from the close by American effect interior the section. you decrease up in spite of if many you prefer and prepare dinner the onions in a sprint water till they are comfortable and the water chefs up. then you definately wreck your eggs over the the excellent option of them with a sprint butter as you regularly might your scrambled eggs.
